Sunbeams

The clouds illuminate

Not long after dawn

Beautiful beams of light

Bursting through

The sky shines with chinks of gold

It looks like heaven peeking through

God is smiling

Hinting at His majesty

For those few minutes

It seems clear

That heaven is real

And not far away

If only people would look
